Our homes

These days hospitality has stopped at handing over the keys, often not even by hand. A digital lock, a code by email, a generic welcome printed in six languages. It works, but it is transactional: nothing stays with you once you are back home.

For us it means something else. It means welcoming people and being there throughout the stay, not just at check-in. It means thinking ahead for those who arrive: where to park, what to find in the kitchen on the first morning, where to go when it rains and where to look when the sky clears. It also means knowing when to step back, because a holiday is not a guided tour. It is the difference between giving a house and giving a place where you feel at home.

That is why the homes we propose are not a catalogue. They are homes chosen one by one in Valtellina, Valchiavenna and on the Upper Lake Como, places where we go, where we know the owners and the people who live there. Every home has its own character and its own voice. For each home we tell the territory as we live it: the restaurant where we really go, the trail that is not in the guidebooks, the village festival worth the trip. When the home allows it, it is the owner who recommends their favourite spots, because no one knows a place like someone who lives there.

We are not chasing luxury. We are after stays that stay with you: for the care in the details, for the quality of the materials, for the warmth of those who await you. A home, a territory, a piece of the Alps to take home with you.
